"Learning is not attained by chance, it must be sought for with ardour and diligence.” As we soaked up the routine back this week, I take this opportunity humbly ,to thank the organizers of the instructional course prayagraj, the entire surgical team Prayagraj and the kindest gentlemen backstage who made this a flawless event. Studded with the best of National Faculty, vast informative cme content, time precision and tick tock arrangements make it a standout course.Details wrre taken care of with minutes precision. The cooperation and willingness to help was remarkable of the local Faculty. Worth a mention also were the free flow of coffee tea (to keep us swake) and the yummy lunches (to make us sleep) daily. The exam question paper especially the MCQ was perfectly designed to test one's range of knowledge in all aspects of colorectal surgery. Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value." The achievement will always be of value! Special thanx to our ablest of faculty, Dr Nissar, Dr Pradeep Sharma, Dr Niranjan,Dr Kushal, Dr Roy and Dr Kumkum who made us feel confident and made sure all of us felt comfortable while absorbing knowledge.

Dr. Ajith kumar this is really not fare. We are still students even after passed MS. So we should behave like students when we take any exam. This is one fellowship exam conducting with lots of efforts and to evaluate us completely as a surgeon not just piles fistula and fissure level knowledge. No other fellowships exam conduct so seriously to give us complete knowledge and evaluate us completely. So being student we should respect our teachers and their results whatever they have given us. It has lots of meaning, if we get fail that means we should put more efforts and if we passed we get chance to learn more from the academy. That's it. Please stop it here and respect their efforts at their busy schedule giving us knowledge to practice - Dr Geethanjali |
The entire journey so far with FACRSI was a mixture of thrill and excitement, thrill of the real structured pattern of the exams and excitement of embarking on new learnings. Instructional course and the video course before hand was really good, all examiners were national and international level seasoned examiners. In total a very good experience. I would like add my part of ideas which I feel will enhance the knowledge further. 1. For the enrolled exam going candidates we can arrange a series of live surgeries depicting the standard steps done by the masters, this will ensure correct and standard steps conveyed for colorectal procedures. 2. We can share the presentations of the instructional course pre hand so the candidates can be well prepared before they embark on attempting exams. Thank you so much all the faculties and wonderful new friends...! - Dr Azhar Attar |
